I got my start in design creating posters for club nights and events in university while completing my degree in something completely unrelated. Over the course of those 4 years, I realized that it was actually where my passion was, and after graduating dove fully into it.

From there I moved to California to work with a friend’s start-up, then came back to Canada and started my own one-man design and development studio for small businesses. After working on that for a few years I needed a new challenge so I dove into the world of advertising and was hired on at Ogilvy Toronto for a few more years. Advertising kept me busy for a bit longer with a move to Union Creative in Toronto.

Then came the opportunity to live in work in London, which I couldn’t say no to. After a few months of freelancing, I met with the co-founders of eve who were in need of someone to take their design and branding to the next level. Five years, 3 office moves, and one IPO later, I was ready to jump back over agency side.

Black Sun fit the bill perfectly, allowing me to lead a tight team working with FTSE100 Brands and businesses like Coca-Cola HBC, Burberry, Associated British Foods, and Haleon to design and tell their corporate story. Not to mention a few awards along the way as well.
